How do you learn

How do you learn about accounting without taking any courses at college?
like learn to be able to read financial report, doing taxes for small business etc... something general. Not hardcore accounting like the Chartered Accountants. Any good books out there? also how do you learn about law

as well without studying law at law school? like about business contract law, etc... law related to business matters. Thank you.

Lol. et cetera et cetera. It's all on the internet bro. And just look for some books at a library or book store.2 : Canda, eh? Go to any large local book store or online like Amazon.com and get some the series: Accounting for Dummies, Investing for Dummies and the same related book for law. These are pretty good comprehensive books. I am not infering you are a dummy -- it's just the name of a series. Go online and google the topic matters. There is a ton of information out there. Just read the reports. Since you are ambitious to do this, then you are reasonably intelligent and you'll figure out the reports. Financials are sent out to every shareholder in public companies without the need for special training to understand them.
